Ali and Johnny [Engagement Session]

If you are a follower of my blog, you will probably recognize this couple. Ali and Johnny's proposal was featured a few months back. These two really do hold a special place in my heart. Everybody has their own love story and often I get to share those lovely stories on my blog. But this one is even more special because I have known Ali and Johnny for 5 years. I have known them as Johnny and Ali and I have known them as JOHNNY and ALI.  Actually, I would like to think I helped shape their relationship :) I still remember the night they officially became a couple (because lets just say we all knew it was bound to happen). We were freshmen in college and it was a cold January (27th) night when the fire alarms went off, when we came back in the building I still remember Ali telling that Johnny and her were official!

I feel so lucky to be able to witness a love like theirs; one with such intention and imperfections. The type of imperfections that help build one another up and provide purposeful moments in a relationship. I cannot wait for May 30th, 2015 when you two tie the knot!

Michael Ehrman [Senior Session 2015]

Hello Again!

It feels like a lifetime since I have posted on the blog. I have had so many wonderful sessions taking place that my blogging has taken a backseat. Not okay, but don't worry that is all gonna be changing. In the next few weeks, Megan Ann Photography will be graced with new stories and tons of colorful photos.

One of the many senior sessions I am excited to share, features the guy you will see below. I have known Michael his entire life! He is beyond talented, humble and so sincere. I always love working with my seniors to find a way to showcase who they are in their senior session. Michael is a gifted cellist and soccer player, so it seemed pretty obvious that we would incorporate his interests to tell his story better.

I am so excited to see what the rest of this year brings for you, Michael. You will do great things! I leave you with wise words from Dr. Seuss, one of my favorites.

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...”
― Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!
